This event is a threshold event that tracks as a percentage the amount of data in an array Audit Log - how close the log is to its wrapping point where existing entries begin to be overwritten.

Unless threshold values are supplied with the registration, the following defaults are used to derive an event severity:

If value is >= 80%—Warning

Otherwise—Normal

Notes

  • What is reported is the position of the write pointer within the Audit Log as a percentage: 0% for the beginning, 100% for the end
  • This event is intended to be used as an indication that a backup of the Audit Log is needed - if appropriate.
